That's all for me for now. Today will be my last entry until somewhere around the end of August. If I can, though, I'll come to check how you're all doing, yadda yadda yadda: no one needs to know this motherly bullshit... =P But I won't post this time, because there's some art I want to work on.

But seriously, this season has the worst casting I've ever seen! Poor Gordon has to tear his lungs to shit to get those morons to cook properly! If they can't cook, I don't know how in Waluigi's name they got on HK! Last week's episode was shocking. The time the BIRTHDAY GIRL got served undercooked meat? They can't even see when it's raw! One of them even served undercooked chicken wings... TO A KID!!

OK, as some of you know, with the end of a semester comes a "hiatus" for me, though not an intentional one. The next such period will begin next Wednesday. For those who only friended me recently, what happens is that I lose almost all access to the Internet during the break(s), so I post but quite rarely, taking advantage of any chance I get. When I can't come online, during this time I usually meet my best friends, go shopping, play my video games and work on my personal PC, which by the way is not connected to the Internet.

This time, however, I'll try to actualy use my summer break productively. Unless I *FINALLY* get a job this summer, I may start drawing again. I know I've never posted boo when it comes to art, but this time I'm planning to and would like to give you a more formal introduction to my mascot character, Lord Rhade. (To whom I alway refer as the Dark Deity; I took my name from him). A first appearance in a funny fanfic isn't exactly what I'd call a great introduction. (For those who didn't read "Rhade's Cheap Mouth", go to my profile, although I'll warn you that you won't understand shit about what you'll read). You know nothing about his personality, how his love for Prilla affects the development of his character, etc. Said introduction includes a drawing and a biography. And I'm planning a Fairies fic in which he shows up.

Those of you with deviantART accounts will be able to get the first look at him, since the drawing(s) will be exclusive to there for a while after I return. It's empty now, though, but be patient! XP

Sorry if I confused anyone with this entry. I'll just go.

2. Chef Gordon Ramsay. I'm a huge fan of Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares, and I grew to love and respect this guy.
3. Cooler, Dragon Ball Z. This is made from his artwork in Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3, which I happened to get only because his father, King Cold, my all-time favorite DBZ character, was playable. The caption is from the fifth movie, Cooler's Revenge.

6. GIGA FREAKING BOWSER!! ~~Prilla's bodyguard, appointed by Lord Rhade!~~ I mean the most awesome fighter in Smash! From a screencap on Smash Bros. Dojo. The caption is back when I was excited beyond reason to see him return in Brawl, since he was also one of my most wanted.

Well, I just finished re-beating The Subspace Emissary. I'm mad, though! I captured about five enemies with Trophy Stands, but the game didn't give them to me after I beat Tabuu. Maybe it has something to do with the Save Points...

But I have no time for celebration, though. I have a presentation on Tuesday that I'll have to prepare for over the weekend, that I've practically had all semester to work on. Yeah, I never got around to asking the teacher what the fuck to put in it. Aside from that, I have this programming assignment I have to finish for another course. So this weekend, there's no time for Brawling!

Lord Rhade: Addicted to... WINNING?!

As of today, there's something that's very important for me to do: learn to stop being a sore loser. I'm kinda like Waluigi: whenever someone gains the slightest advantage over me, I lose it. After all, I need to learn to accept defeat: they'll ban me from Brawl tournaments with my attitude! =P Here are the things I tend to do:

-Throw my controller
-Utter death threats to the CPU / its programmer(s)
-Scream that I'll never improve and claim that I'm the world's lousiest player
and other things.

Yeah. I think you'll all agree with me that I need to drop these and fast. Besides, ~~GameCube controllers are getting expensive to replace...~~ =P

My problem: I'm not used to playing against humans, and I usually beat the CPU. I'm one of many who can't stand, I mean HATE, to lose!

I'm at a loss for words.

That's why I'm barely updating. Especially after what I've just revealed to you. While I was afraid to do it, I also knew that it was right, and that my charade couldn't continue.

But I'm proud to announce that I'm going to be slowly coming back. I just need to get myself back together. What I want more than lots right now is to return to my usual Brawl obsessions and comic personality. So let's begin, shall we?

I did something unbelievable: I DELETED my Brawl save data. Except for the stuff on my SD card, it was all gone. Well, I got bored, so I did like back in the good ol' Melee days: delete my save and re-unlock everything. The main reason I did this is because I had abused my Golden Hammers in Challenges, and stuff that would be ordinarily too hard for me would end up staying behind their window(s). I haven't used one yet, and already more than half of the stuff is either unlocked or awaiting to be unlocked. Very few blue, opaque windows remain.

The CD item is, graphically, a beauty. I love its look in-game, racing to grab it, and I love the sound it makes when you pick it up.

Now, you've probably noticed that Tabuu's LJ was deleted. Well, I have a confession to make that's currently even more black than my heart.

OK, before you kill me, slow down and listen for a bit.

"Tabuu"'s first, true intended purpose was a selfish device to get more comments on my LJ. Things started getting lonely around here, so I made up a fictional identity to recieve more. I know that was horrifically wrong and I'm sorry. Then I recalled a reply to an entry in disney_faeriesthat hurt my pride a little bit and decided to stage a completely fake attack on one of its maintainers. Said attack was all an act. IT WAS NOT ANGER NOR HATE! IT WAS PRIDE!!! FUCKING PRIDE!!! Then, I slowly started to appreciate his "presence" and convinced myself he was real! BUT IT COULDN'T GO ON LIKE THIS!!!

I'll never be able to apologize enough or forgive myself for the damage I've caused. I've lied straight to your faces, and I'm both ashamed and embarrassed. And with good reason, too.

To punish myself, I want you all to turn your backs on me. That's the only treatment suitable for my ways.

I wish to openly and sincerely apologize to the following LJ users, who all got mixed up one way or another with "Tabuu":

That could mean either of two things...

Lip's "inclusion" or Dr. Mario's return. Oh my freaking God. Way to put light on my crappy life, Ida! ;)

I gotta tell Tabuu; he wanted Dixie Kong in Brawl, and if the DLC unlocks those partially programmed characters, he'll have her, Gel will have Mewtwo and I'll have Doc. Yes!

Actual boredom with playing Brawl. Didn't think that was possible. I even tried playing another character (read "focusing on Wolf a bit instead of Luigi"), and that changed nothing.

What seems to be the problem? Those cowardly, opportunistic computer players. They're starting to piss me off! =( I want to rip off the heads of the AI programmer(s) that work on these goddamned Wi-Fi games for making them damn near unplayable against CPUs. DBZ BT3 is a prime example of this. If it wasn't for King Cold being in it, I would've stuck with BT2. And don't get me started on Mario Strikers Charged. I wish I had never gotten that fucking game! Grrr! Its CPUs are so CHEAP!!!

That's right! The fucking level ONE CPUs are unbeatable.

Now, for some happier news!

Wednesday is a day off for me! And a fun family day is perhaps planned. I wish I could have Tabuu come along too, but I respect my parents' decision to have no friends along.

And I can't get over the fact that I missed Gel's birthday! What kind of friend am I? Well, HB to you!

I'm slowly getting bored with it!

That's right. After unlocking all characters, stages and proving my worth as Luigi, I don't know why I can't bring myself to keep playing Brawl. And no, it has nothing to do with Lip not being in it. My main is Luigi all the way.

I think I know why: the music lover and artist in me is awake again. I can't stop listening to my Brawl MP3s and Michael Jackson. That's right: I said MICHAEL JACKSON! Pretty random, huh?

Back to the artist part: I almost forgot I had an empty deviantART!!! Girla must be quite fed up of watching an empty account! Don't worry, I'll post some drawings someday! =) All I need is a decent scanner and you'll see a King Cold face on my channel!

Let's get the serious part out first.

I know I've been worrying lately, especially about a certain matter discussed in a friends-only entry I posted on Wednesday, but a new development surfaced:

Tabuu never posted anything degrading. Apparently, someone tapped into his account while he was at the washroom. Tabuu did, in fact, begin to type a nice comment to tanz_fanatika, but this guy who was sitting next to him had decided to "corrupt" it and destroyed Tabuu's reputation by cyberbullying her as well. In other words, he was abused and could do nothing about it. I wondered why I found it rather... coincidental that this same bully was staring at her deviantART. I'll never be able to apologize to him enough for yelling at him. Now he's on an LJ leave to get over his emotion upon learning this.

OK, to stop being so stinking serious all the time. I want to go back to the cheerful, happy-go-lucky self you guys like.

I met my usual gaming gang on Saturday... and was shocked to discover that my Luigi was able to hold his own against my friends' characters in Brawl! Remember, these are the friends who always beat me in Melee. I'm SO dying to play Wi-Fi; I really have to get that USB connector someday...

Hey! Did you know that some people are already discussing wanted characters for a next Smash Bros. (provided there was to be one a couple of years from now)?

Moving on...

If there's only one thing I'm glad about going back to school, it's gotta be posting here! My love for it still hasn't gone down a bit! And this whole thing about not recieving enough comments, that's all a bunch of crap! ;)

I passed a test in school that I feared I had flunked, but it turns out I passed. (YES!) Speaking of school, hi to Chacusha, long time no see! =) I know school is a bother, I feel the same way. But, at the end of it all, we'll finally get fun jobs, move out of the family home and live our own lives! I can't wait!

OK. I'll apologize yet again. I abandoned you guys because of a stupid, untrue gut feeling I had. That's not like me at all. That will not happen again.

Well, on the plus side, I splurged on some Fairies stuff on Friday. Went to the mall with $35, went out with a little over $7. One was a group poster, including Prilla-chan! I HAD to buy that. XP I REALLY have to get out more often, as I need to get this stuff before it gets too rare.

Now, more Brawl (please cope with me here).

These are my latest accomplishments:

-Unlocked all characters (Wow... within a week *pants*)
-Beat the last boss of the SSE. His name is Tabuu and he's so freaking awesome. Too bad AR won't let me control him.. ;_;
-Beat Classic on Very Hard, where Master Hand looks like he's on fucking STEROIDS (I'm SO not ready for Intense yet)
-Unlocked all Target Smash stages
-I have over 300 Trophies and Stickers (to those who have more, well good for you, mates!)
-I have 40 stages and only one Melee one to unlock (Green Greens)
-15 Stage Builder stages made
-43 screenshots (FYI My SD card still has over 7000 blocks open and the stuff is so small... XD)
-Chose my final main list: Luigi as first and the lucky secondaries are Bowser, Wolf, R.O.B. and Wario. That won't change anymore.

'Cheapest' character? I'm tempted to say Sonic because of his Homing Attack, but when I really think about it, it's definitely still god damned Peach. I HATE that... *bleep*.
Best looking effects/weapons? Well, the Lip's Stick and... Link's sword. As for effects, Giga Bowser's Forward tilt is still freaking awesome!
Favorite Final Smash? Giga Bowser Transformation, duh! =P
Dumbest Final Smash? I think DK's is pretty weird...
Best outfit? Luigi. I LOVE the details on his clothes...

Favorite stage? I'll have to say... hmmm. I'm stumped between Battlefield and Final Destination. <- Giga Bowser music! X3
Favorite boss in the Subspace Emissary? Petey so far. He was a bit challenging.
What did you think of the Subspace Emissary? It feels like New Super Mario Bros. mixed with Smash!

Did you get it at midnight release? You nuts or something? Some of us need sleep for our bodies to function. XP
Did you dress up as any of the characters? Once: Mario, and I planned to cosplay as Snake once.
Did you get a Japanese Wii and game to play it early? Hell no!
Do you use the Wiimote or the Gamecube controllers? GameCube controller ALL THE WAY!.

You guys know how I'm into Disney Fairies, right? Well, I'll be spending more time there than here: as a Fairies collector, I'm concentrating on them now that I have Brawl. So, for a while, I'll spare you my Smash ramblings and talk about something else SOMEWHERE else. And Ida, I'll still check out your Gaming With Ida-chan episodes, don't worry.

I got it and I'm loving it! I played it for almost TWELVE HOURS!!

I've only unlocked four characters, but it's the actual playing that's fun. I've tried a bit of SSE, and it feels more like a Mario platformer than a fighting game.

Currently maining: Luigi, Wario and Snake. And yes: Snake is naturally hard to control: he's a bit slow, but I'm (finally) beginning to get the hang of some of his aerials as well as specials. The rest will come soon enough.

And is it just me or is Giga Bowser weak?

Prilla: "Umm... I've been reading here and you seem to talk a lot about this 'Brawl'.>

You're telling me you've NEVER heard of Smash Bros.? Well, I'll let you play it sometime. ;)

Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Rhade's perspective!

So, as you know, I played Brawl yesterday... and here's my two cents on the gameplay.

First off, I'll talk about the characters I played.

Wario: A very awesome character. As promised, he was the first Brawl character I controlled. I sucked a bit with him, but he was still fun to play. And the Wario Waft is fucking strong! I was beating up Lucas, and I had Wario pull off the Waft... and he was KOd. And Wario jumped like crazy. Lucas was at about 100% damage. This was the fully charged Wario Waft. I'm looking forward to giving Wario another spin.

Bowser: Two words: Pure! Gold! Bowser was fun as hell to play. And so was Giga Bowser, believe it or not. Sure, Giga Bowser was a bit tougher to control than he was in Melee, but my God his look is awesome! NOTHING beats bitchslapping Sonic with Giga Bowser! X3

Pokemon Trainer/Charizard: I had to try Charizard out. I've wanted that Pokemon playable since the beginning. He's great! Just plain awesome.

Snake: Unbelievable? No, what was is that I was the one who ended up unlocking him. I sucked terribly with Snake, so much that I lost the match! XP Against fucking Peach, my punching bag! I'll need to train a bit more with Snake.

King Dedede: A little on the slow side, even moreso than Bowser. I had a blast with his Final Smash, watching my opponent get hit by all those Waddle Dees.

And last but not least:

Luigi the Great: He is still as easily controlled as in Melee. He is by far the best Smash Luigi. His Fire Jump Punch is more like the one from the N64, and his Final Smash, the Negative Zone, is just as weird as it is effective! Luigi for SSBB main all the way!

And now, other gameplay stuff:

I'm very disappointed by the lack of directional air dodging. I know I was warned about it, but still. It was a major part of my game with Luigi and Giga in Melee. I mean, they could have kept it in AND still eliminate Wavedashing.

L-canceling is unbelievably difficult. I couldn't pull it off in Brawl. I don't know if it's still performed the same way, but once I get the game I'll give it another shot.

The CPUs are much more challenging this time around. Perfect for those wanting to improve (such as me). Combos are much harder to pull off as a result. Hey, in Melee I could beat Level 8's and 9's. In Brawl, Level THREE made me sweat. Even with Luigi. The guy who was watching me play was actually pretty impressed by my game with Luigi, even though I had a bit of trouble with Brawl, even though his playstyle is virtually the same as in Melee.

So, yeah. If you expected Brawl to be nothing more than an improved Melee, you're in for a big surprise. Bowser can actually beat Fox in this game.

In short, I misjudged Brawl. I never had this much fun with a Smash Bros. before. And no, I wasn't able to record that match for UtP like I wanted to.

It's true. I heard of a store near me that imported Smash Brothers X and a Japanese Wii for people to play it. I might be there on Thursday. YES! Time to start TRULY training with Luigi!

I heard that CPUs are actually challenging this time around. No more stupid cowards. Fox is not cheap!

Brawl soundtrack and misc.

Is it just me, or does Brawl have even better music than New Super Mario Bros.?

It's not me.

I'm thrilled that they put the Airship Fortress theme in Brawl. That was my second favorite song in Mario 3, right after the Bowser battle music (of course!)

I'm in love with the Luigi's Mansion music (I know I stated this in an earlier entry, but yeah), the Mario World Castle theme, the Main Menu and Final Destination songs... AND DO I SEE THE THEME OF GIGA FREAKIN' BOWSER!!!??

Yeah! It's there!

I saw Masuta Hando (he's love) in a video, and his laugh is strange this time. I wish he had a Final Smash. It'd be interesting to see what it was if he had one.

What would happen, though... if GIGA BOWSER got a Smash Ball? Would the transformation last longer? IDK, but I'll try it.

I can't wait to get to his theme. Anyway, I consider it unfair that Japan already has Brawl and we don't. They'll very easily cream us all on Wi-Fi.

Now, let's change the subject.

Ida's playing MARIO, people. The very same Mario, brother of Luigi The Great, that Ida used to hate. Well, it's a good choice.

I'm very bored these days. No one to hang out with, my games are starting to bore me and all. Yeah. *sighs*

At least the Brawl soundtrack NEVER gets old for me! I LOVE Smash Bros. music.

Yep. This guy knocked down Wario. After being a secondary main in both previous games, he'll be number one in Brawl. I LOVE what they did to him: his REAL voice, his Melee play style and a BREATHTAKING CHARACTER MODEL!!! Go him!

Oh, and by the way, Brawl has THE BEST Luigi's Mansion arrangement I've ever heard! It's my favorite Mario song in the whole game. Listening to that OST made me want to think about what I'd want to do if I were heading a Smash Bros. (aside, of course, from making Lip playable...)

And I recently learned that all the Japanese was HER THEME?! Wow... But Panel De Pon is so bloody represented in Brawl. Next step... a character?

First off, I want to apologize to all who were offended by my Brawl rant. I'll just erase all I did (in terms of Lip supporting) and get on with life.

Next, I want to apologize to R.O.B. He's a classic Nintendo character, and he's cool. Now I want an actual R.O.B. accessory so I can hug him (he's one cute little bastard... X3) and add him to my growing Nintendo collection.

R.O.B, my friend, if you're the WTF character in Brawl, then so be it. I WILL play you every now and then, and if ever there's a Super Smash Bros. 4, I hope you show up again like Game & Watch did in Brawl, Although I don't think I'll have the strength to go through all my Lip supporting stuff all over again.

*R.O.B. appears and displays a poster saying "LIP FOR SSB4 (You are forgiven!)"!*
